The common misconception in my field of expertise is that, time and money are the key contributors towards success. Of course, they are required, however they are nowhere near as important as instilling the key characteristics in an individual that will steer them towards a successful career.
For example, an individual must be respectful and have sportsmanship. They must listen to their emotions and body if they are to make any progress. The art of communication must also be practised and mastered. There has to be a desire for competition and winning, particularly at moments where they are placed under immense pressure. To experience pain is temporary, but results are permanent.
